BOAT RAMPS
There are five boat ramps within 15 - 20 min of Wattley Hill. They are (with links to Google Map locations):

Smith's Lake - There's two options for accessing Smith's lake:
-
The nearer of the two is at Bramble Reserve at Tarbuck Bay (however, when the water is low this is also a great place to destroy your prop as the lake bed is rocky. Lots of people use it... I don't); or
-
There's a boat ramp right next to the Frothy Coffee Boatshed

The Myall Lakes - most easily accessed at Neranie Boat Ramp. This is the best ramp/lake combo in my view. It can be windy, but motor north/east and you'll find beautiful places to moor out of the wind.

Wallis Lake - can be accessed from Pacific Palms Recreation Club.

The Wallingat River - your hunt for Old Man Flatty starts at the Sugar Creek boat ramp, and is best accessed by 4WD.
